Adventure Cove, Sentosa, Singapore

It always seems that Adventure Cove is one of those theme park that I didn't want to go for quite a while. That's also one of the reasons why I never went during my 6 years in Singapore. But, since I decided to go back to Yangon, I decided that I should at least go once to see how it really is and why I didn't want to go for some reason.

I paid for SGD32 for going into the waterpark since I was a Singapore Resident during that time (SGD38 for non-Singapore residents) and when I went inside, there were loads of kids and families inside just swimming and running around in the water.
The waterpark itself was quite fun. Since I couldn't swim, I had to be on a float just for floating around. Although the water itself is quite shallow, I still don't want to walk in the water so being on a float seems much easier for me.

There are also other rides inside the waterpark for some additional entrance fees. The best part of the Adventure Cove was to pass through a pool of so many stingrays. Absolutely loved it! I stayed in the same spot for hours playing with them. It was incredible.

Lunch wise, there is also a few food options (mostly fast food options) so we decided to head back outside of Adventure Cove after showering and getting ready. My skin was so dry from exposing myself in the chlorine water for way too long... But I had absolute fun there. Not sure I will want to go back there or not but for those who have not tried adventure cove, I recommend you to try at least once.

2019

2019 was a year where I learnt a lot of things whether it is good and bad, incredible and terrible.
2019 was a year where I get to spend time with family, where I get to become a fiancé of my amazing boyfriend, where I get to be a part of this amazing team at work, where I get to learn whatever I want without much hinderance and I get to travel to places that I have never been in my life!
There were tough times but most of the time, I get to enjoy what I have, spend what I have, learn what I could and experience what I got.
This year was such a learning curve for me. I met with loads of new people, get to be friends with some of them, get to be a part of their lives, make them smile, smile and enjoy together. I also experienced loads of new adventures good and bad! Sometimes I met mine and others’ expectations, sometimes not. Although, during that time, was feeling upset or down but I am always made to remind that I am content with what I have and with people whom I spend with.
Maybe the best thing about this year is how I was exposed to loads of different things. Even though, now is a tough time for me, but I still want to be me and enjoy what I can and want to sprinkle some happiness to whomever I can.
Well, usually, I tend to write these kinds of lengthy post on my blog but I find that no matter where I write; whether it be on a book at home, my blog or here, where it will remind me of this post in the future to look back is more worth it.
I still couldn’t realise that 2019 is almost over and I’m still an awe that I had experienced so much in this one year of being a working adult. Still, I’m pretty much a child in my mind and I am in no way as mature as I should but I learned that sometimes having fun is a necessity to enjoy this fast-paced stressful world.
I would like to end on a note that “don’t be consumed by negativity that’s around you. Relax and be true to yourself.”
Here’s to all the things I have experienced and enjoyed in this past year! Thank you for 2019 to be such an awesome year to remember for. And looking forward for what 2020 will bring me!

REVIEW: ETUDE HOUSE 0.2MM THERAPY AIR MASK IN ARGAN ★★★☆☆

It has been a while I write a blogpost about skincare. How is my readers going? I cannot say much to all of you, readers, on how apologetic I am on not updating my blog for so long. But, I will write again since I forgot how much I missed writing my posts on thing that I love. Although I stopped writing, but my love for skincare continued this whole time. Now I felt that I need to start writing again and I need to start sharing on what kind of products that I have been loving and what I have been facing these days.

Well, enough about the introductory long paragraph, let's start the review, shall we?

If you have not yet read my other reviews on the Etude House Sheet Mask line, this will be a continuation on the series that I have tried and loved. For this review, I would like to share with the argan version of the sheet mask.

It is a thick emulsion type serum that is infused with argan oil that moisturises the skin. Since I have dry skin, I thought I was going to enjoy the mask as it would moisturise the skin and help with our moisture barrier.
Ingredients: Water, Glycereth-26, Butylene Glycol, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Xylitol, Dipropylene Glycol, Glycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ceramide NP, Alcohol, Coptis Chinensis Root Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin Orange) Oil, Pinus Palustris Oil, Juniperus Mexicana Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, C14-22 Alcohols, C12-20 Alkyl Glucoside, Glucose, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Cholesterol, Carbomer, Arginine, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA, Ethylhexylglycerin (Source: here)
To my surprise, I find that the mask would moisturise my dry ass skin, with the current weather of having aircon temperature (around 16 degrees) it does not moisturise the skin well enough.

The mask material is a thick cottony material that is thick in texture and a bit rough to the skin. It is much heavier than the moist water essence type sheet mask but because it is thicker, it is not easy to tear at all. Since it is thicker, it is easy to unfold and apply on the face.

The fit is okay. I like the eye and mouth cut outs better than Innisfree but the actual size in the sheet mask is smaller than the Innisfree so it didn't go until the edge of my forehead. It's okay but I wished they had a bit bigger masks. Once it is on, it won't budge till you decided to take it off. I tend to do my studies or write blogposts while I mask so it's always a time saver.

The essence is a milky consistency and there is 20ml of the essence inside the packet. Although there is 20ml of essence, most of the essence is sticked to the sheet mask so there is not much left inside the packet while using. Since it has a milky consistency, I like the fact that it is not as drippy so you can use them on the planes and such.

They recommend me to leave the mask on for 10-20 minutes. So, as usual, I left it on for 20 minutes and I was surprised to see that the mask is very easy to dry up. I was disappointed as they dry up so fast and that there is no leftover essence for me to reapply during the masking time.

Overall, I find that it does not moisturise the skin well enough and the sheet mask tend to dry out quite easily before the 20 minutes mark. I still prefer their moist water type sheet masks more than their ampoule type and therefore, I give it 3 stars.
