Review: Etude House 0.2mm Therapy Air Mask in Ceramide ★★★☆☆

Etude House is the very first brand that I started my skincare routine with and I always tend to love the products from them since I was very young. When I was exposed to the unlimited amount of brands from different countries, for some reason, I stopped using the products from them. So, this mask series is a reconciliation to this brand and see what type of variety this brand offers in terms of masks. Masks to me are a necessity these days. I have been using them since young but this year is the first time I really started using sheet masks every day. And I am really impressed with the results. Of course, sheet masks do not fix everything but it is a nice supplement for the skin to become radiant and moisturise the skin. It also acts as a relaxation time for me while focusing on my skincare after a long day.

According to Etude House, this mask claims to deep moisturise the skin.

Ingredients - Water, Dipropylene Glycol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Methylpropanediol, Sorbitan Stearate, Butylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Arginine, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Sucrose Cocoate, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Extract, Coptis Chinensis Root Extract, Dehydroacetic Acid, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Disodium EDTA, Boswallia Serrata Gum, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Pinus Palustris Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin Orange) Oil, Centella Asiatica Extract, Ceramide NP, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Phytosteryl/Octyldodecyl Lauroyl Glutamate, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Juniperus Mexicana Oil

The sheet is a cottony type material that is a bit thicker than the Innisfree ones. I really enjoy the thick materials since they are not easy to tear and they retain more moisture in the mask. The fit is also nicely fitted on my face. I am a bit sad that their sheet masks are smaller than what I am used to from the Innisfree. But it's okay since the mouth holes on the Etude House is much smaller which moisturises the skin around the mouth area much better.
In the Etude House line, they have 3 types of essence and the ceramide is considered to be a emulsion type essence. Since it is the emulsion type essence, the essence is a milky consistency and it is much thicker than what I am used to in the Innisfree ones. It is a totally new experience for me and I really enjoyed it. Although they don't have a lot of essence leftover in the packet to put on my neck and arms so it is a big con for me. There is 20ml of essence in the packet but it does not look like it got 20ml of essence.
They recommend me to leave the mask on for 10-20 minutes. So, as usual, I left it on for 20 minutes and I was surprised to see that the mask is very easy to dry up. I was disappointed as they dry up so fast and that there is no leftover essence for me to reapply during the masking time.

After using the mask, I definitely feel a bit of moisturising but since they dry up so quickly, I am not sure whether the mask itself is actually moisturising for me. Also, the emulsion type essence is kinda difficult to get absorbed in the skin and left my skin a bit sticky afterwards.

Overall, I will give this mask a 3 stars out of 5. I liked it but I wished they get absorbed in the skin properly.
