Review: BioAqua Aquaringer Skin Clinic Mask ★★★★☆

Well, I bought this mask from the same shop called Mgou in Myanmar while I was visiting there a while back. I decided to use this mask since I am having a bit of dehydrated skin in the last couple of days and I wanted to increase my hydration and moisture levels of my skin. As usual, the price is 500MMK which is around SGD0.50 from the currency exchange and I was shocked on how interesting some brands from China have been making/knocking-off some korean sheet masks.

According to the mask, it is recommended for dry skin and will repair the skin while keep moisture in the skin and add water into the skin. It also increases nutrition for the skin and potentially repair the wrinkles. It claims to have high purity hyaluronic acid which has excellent moisturising power to penetrate to the skin till the underlying skin and replenish the skin with abundant moisture and improve the skin roughness and lock the water in the skin to form a protective film while eliminating annoying discomfort tight skin and make the skin smooth and soft and supple to the touch.

Wow, it claims a lot. Let's see how it held up.

The mask material is a thin material that is not cotton or paper. It is more towards tencel but a lot thinner and soft to touch. The mouth hole is not too big or not too small and the eyes holes are a bit big in size. The mask is wrapped in the external layer of plastic protective layer and soaked in a lot of moisture. Even though the mask is thin, it is not easy to tear which I really like and it retains the moisture pretty well.

The mask is soaked in the watery essence and is dripping while taking out from the packet. It is quite messy while applying it since the mask is so drippy but once it is set on the face, it won't move. I also love the fit of the mask. It is nicely fit on my face and has a very large area to cover my big face. There is 30ml of essence in this mask and there is still a lot of essence left over even after I removed the mask.

As usual, I left the mask on for 20 minutes. At the end of 20 minutes, I saw only a few bit of outer layer of the mask is drying up a bit but most of the mask is still wet. But I removed it before it gets too dry. After removing the mask, I patted the essence on my face and I moved on with my life. The leftover essence is easily absorbed in the skin after 5 minutes or so and keep the skin nice and soft without being too sticky. I left my skin is hydrated and soft and bouncy to the touch.

I was impressed by it. So, overall, I will give this mask a 4 stars out of 5. It is a good mask and I love the way it makes my skin feels. I could see a glow from my skin while moisturising my skin. Moreover, the price is really cheap. Although I won't say it's an excellent choice of mask ingredients wise since I can't read the ingredients list, but if you are on a budget, I would recommend it to you since I don't see any major changes with my eyes.
