November Favourites 2016

Ahh, November has passed and we are already in December. I still cannot believe the year has been almost coming to an end and it is going to be in 2017 in a few weeks. Before 2017 will come passing by, we will all be having our holidays with Christmas and New Years soon. If it was last year me, I would be very excited about this holiday since I can spend money on makeup and skincare stuff. Now, since I had gone through minimalism this year, I'm not that excited about Christmas nor spending money anymore. Because of minimalism, I realised that I already have more makeup and skincare than what I actually needed and the fact that I have been spending a shit load of money on things that I cannot use finish before they actually expire.
Okay, enough with the long intro, let me tell you what my favourites of the month of November. The first favourite is my blog design. If you have been following my blog, I change my blog layout and design every now and then until I found something that I really like. This time round, I bought a theme from a famous web developer named Pipdig. I believe if you like reading some blogs like Inthefrow or Lily-like, you will probably know that their blogs are beautifully designed and developed so I made a huge decision and purchased a blog design from him. Normally, I always like to switch things around so I never buy a design so that I can easily switch my designs.
This is the design for my landing page which is beautifully designed. I have been adding some codes on my own since I have a degree in IT (well, I normally enjoy HTML programming so, I have been adding some of my own codes to the design)

This is my main post area, you will see this page when you read my articles and posts. I will link my "A Letter to all the Boys I've Loved Before" post here if you are interested in reading it. (Please read hehe)

Next will be my favourite experience of the month. If you follow me on my Instagram, you will know that I have officially graduated from my Bachelor degree in Bachelor of Information Technology.

The boy and I have finally graduated! I'll talk more about my graduation in my upcoming post soon. I want to put more photos and memories in that post all about my graduation and the after party. (can't wait to share with you)

Next is my anime of the month! As you know, I was mainly back in Myanmar for the entire month of November and over there, I pretty much watched anime and some movies that I downloaded before I travelled to my external HDD. The anime of the month is Haikyuu! I know I have been watching Haikyuu for the past few months, this is the month I rewatched Haikyuu like a thousandth time.
I'll post some photos of the anime below and I'll put more when I write my review about it.

Now is time for my music favourites. November is also the month the boy and I started using Spotify Premium. I especially love music and the boy just listens to what I listen since he was lazy to make playlists. (lazy piggy)

This is the playlist I listened the most during the month of November and the song of the month is called "Fly High" by Burnout Syndromes. The song is also a opening song form Haikyuu season 2.

Now it is time for me to talk about my beauty favourites. I have 6 products that I want to share with you. I have been using all of the products while I was travelling and I brought them with me.

The first one is this comb. Forgive the dust since I didn't have time to clean it properly. But this brush was the one that I brought with me from Japan. I didn't buy the brush if you are wondering where I get it since this brush is one of those disposable brushes that I got from hot spring while I was in Mt. Fuji.

The second product is this foundation from Sephora. I have an oily/combination skin and I believe my skin is going more towards combination skin since I got a lot of dry areas. This foundation is great if you have combination skin since it hydrates the dry area while keeping control of the oil from my T-zone area. It gives medium coverage too if you have imperfections that you want to cover. I got it from Sephora and my shade is 33. Walnut.

The next product is what I got from my mother. I believe she got it from my aunt as a souvenir from Bangkok. My mother does not use hand cream since her work always require her to have a clean hands and she has to wash hands after she see each of her patients. So she gave it to me saying that the hand cream smells like grasshopper. I understand the scent since it does smells like grasshopper (do ensure that this hand cream smells odd due to the combination of cucumber and aloe scents) I'm over this scent since I have been using it daily.

The next product is my newest addition to my family. When my mother came and visit me for my graduation, she went full-on shopping mode. I thought I was quite a spender but when I actually think of it, I'm nowhere near my mother's spending mode. She doesn't spend much whenever she was back in Myanmar since her work was her first priority. When she was not working and having holiday, she started buying things that she wanted to buy. Well, that's another story for another post.

Anyways, she bought me a new watch since my old Michael Kors watch was ripping apart and looked bad. I wanted black but they didn't have black for this model and they had this purplish maroon colour as their "this season colour."

I have been putting this Body Shop Lip Balm in Frosted Cranberry in many of my favourites videos and blog posts since I really like the scent and the fact that how moisturising my lips felt whenever I apply this lip balm. It also has some sheer red tint in it so I can just apply this lip balm and go out since I never really apply any makeup while I was back in Myanmar.

Last but not least, I have my Innisfree super volcanic pore clay mask. I love my Innisfree products. I always turn back to their products for some reason. After I completed finished using the Queen Helene Mint Julep mask, I started using this clay mask to deep clean my pores and it has been doing a great job. It didn't have the tightening sensation like the Mint Julep one but it removes the left over makeup and oils nicely without clogging my pores and breaking me out.
As always, I’d love to hear from you!! Let me know if you tried any products that you swear by and any amazing experiences you've encountered. Leave me a comment below and let me know! Hope all of you have a wonderful December!!! Thanks for reading!
