January 2017: Beauty Favourites

It has been so long since I write a favourites blogpost. Although I never get to write them, I always write what are my beauty favourites of the months in my notebook so that I get to share with them one day.

Today, I have a few that I wanted to share. Some are cult favourites and some has been my favourite in a couple of months. But I still wanted to share with them so here I am, typing.

I will be writing my missing favourites blogposts and beauty empties blogposts in this month so I hope you will come back another days for my monthly favourites. I shall leave the category link here so that you can always visit my other posts.

NYX Contour Palette
I have had this contour palette for a few months and I've been really enjoying it. It has multiple colours that I need for my cheeks and it also has the soft and beautiful highlighters. The colour that I love the most from this palette is the banana shade highlighter. It brightens my under eyes perfectly so I've been enjoying the shade from this palette.

Essence Brit Tea Illuminating Primer
These days, my oily skin is changing to combination to dry skin and I've been really enjoying the illuminating primers for my face to look radiant and supple looking. The fact that it is from Essence and it is so affordable makes me want to buy a more. Although I said that, it was a limited edition item so I'm not sure you can still find it in Watsons or Guardians (local drugstores in Singapore) anymore.

L'Oreal Matte Magique Mattifying Face Power
I love this power and I've been using every single day. You have to use light hand because it will make you look cakey if you apply too much. I believe this product is for people who have extreme oily skin. Nonetheless, I still enjoy it so much and I use it everyday to set my foundation.

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation
I always tend to switch around the base foundations that I have since everyday I don't need full-coverage foundation to be cakey on my face. But I really enjoy this foundation since it gives very good coverage when I need it and it lasts for quite a long time in the humid and hot weather in Singapore.

Garnier Micellar Water
This is like a cult favourite and I have to agree on them. It cleanses my skin very nicely without stinging my eyes so much and I have a fresh face to go to bed. It lasts me quite long and it is affordable.

St. Ives Even & Bright Face Scrub
I find this face scrub much gentler than the original version that they have (I believe it was Apricot scrub) and I really love using this scrub more than the original one. It is gentle on the skin without stripping every thing off my face and yet efficiently removes the dead skin cells off my face. It was inexpensive from drugstore too.

Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask
Did I tell you that my face is getting from oily skin to combination to dry skin so a good overnight mask was a must for me. I got it for myself during Christmas and it is an amazing mask that I use whenever I think my skin need a pick-me-up.

The Face Shop Real Nature Red Ginseng Face Mask
ahhh~ the face mask was very cooling and moisturising for my face. Do you see a trend here? I'm making way too much effort to make my skin feel moisturised so that it won't get dryer. I can't really say anything much about how miracle it is since sheet masks are not designed to be like that. It definitely moisturises my skin and I love the scent of it.

So, here's my January Favourites! What's yours? Let me know!
