Akagami No Shirayuki Hime 「赤髪の白雪姫」Review

Tonight's review on an anime is the 'Akagami no Shirayuki Hime'. It is an anime based on a girl that has an unusual hair colour which is "Red" and she is very good at handling the medicine and has medical background. Since she has an unusual hair colour, the prince of her country wanted to have her as his "lover" and because of that, she left the country and went to the neighbouring country and met the prince of the neighbouring country by accident. So this is a little synopsis of the anime.

There is 12 episodes in this first season of the anime. The reason that I am reviewing it now is that, if you have watched it already, there is another season coming out in less than a month. However, if you haven't, you should watch it since each episode is only 20 minutes long and you can binge watch the entire season in one day. ^^

The following will be the PV of the season 2.

This anime is romance and comedy so this anime is very "shoujo-ish" but the graphics are awesome and the plot line is nice. So I really recommend watching this anime and give this one a go!

What's my travel makeup?

Hello beautiful readers,
Here I am writing a blogpost during my trip and it's like 1AM now so please forgive me if the photo taken is a bit weird. But I wanted to write this blogpost during my trip since I actually bring this makeup to this trip and these are the only ones I have been wearing non-stop these days. I will do a skincare version as soon as possible since the internet connection is a bit bad here in Myanmar.

As you see in the photo above, this is the only makeup that I brought to my trip. First of all, I think you do not need to bring a lot of makeup during the trip. My trip to pack for a trip for makeup is as less as possible. The less makeup you bring, the less it will be crowded and less heavy.

I only brought one of each that I have been loving and have been cooperating in my makeup routine. Sunscreen, primer, foundation, powder, bronzer, blush, highlight, eyeshadow, mascara, eyebrows and lipstick. So these are the only things that I brought for my trip.

Sailor Moon Crystal 2015 Review

Good evening dear readers, how are you today? For me, I have an exam in 2 days so feeling not so well. Well, I always tend to write a lot of blogposts whenever I have final exams for some reason.

Today I am thinking of creating a new series on my blog. That is as the title says, I am going to review anime and movies that I watch. I am an anime lover so my watch list of anime is a lot. Please check out my "MyAnimeList" profile to know what kind of anime that I am watching and if you find something interesting for me to do a review, please comment or tweet me.
Okay so back the point! Today, I am going to review Sailor Moon which is one of my all time favourite anime and my childhood anime. This year, the creators of Sailor Moon recreate the anime into up to date with the current style of anime style drawing. The story line does not change that much so if you have already watched the old Sailor Moon then you might be familiar with the storyboard. However, the style of the drawing changed so dramatically and Usagi and Mamoru (both of the main characters) become so cool.

If you are not familiar with the story line, I will tell you a bit of synopsis without spoiling the anime. Usagi is a normal middle-school girl who does not love studying and lazy and wake up late (which is like me ^^). One day she saved a black cat from a bunch of kids and then when she remove the band-aid from the cat, her life changed suddenly that night. It is a comedy, shoujo (a story based on girls and mostly girly) and romance. She then starts her own adventure and finding friends and experiencing love from the first time with funny and sad moments.

This is the PV (Promotional Video) of Sailor Moon Crystal. The anime consists of 26 episodes and each episode is around 20-25 minutes. Hope you enjoy!

Haircare Routine 2015 | Tips on healthy hair

Good evening everyone! I have been busy with studies since I finally reached my final year of university and it has been super busy life for me. Sleepless nights, brain farting and thoughtless nights have been a regular to me these days so I haven't able to blog these days but I decided that I want to blog something tonight. I was looking at my blog and recently I wrote my skincare routine so I decided to do a little hair care routine of mine today.

I change a lot of shampoos but L'Oreal is one of the main brand that I spend on my shampoos since 4 years ago. Usually I use Head & Shoulders if I am a little itchy around my scalp. Normally I always love to use various products from L'Oreal.

Before I jump into my routine, I want to share my hair situation with you all. I have damaged, sometimes dandruffy and hair fall hair that is very frizzy. So if you have this kind of hair, I hope the tips that I am going to give you helps.

My haircare routine is simple. I use shampoo and conditioner and a little bit of oil. But the little tips and tricks that I do along the way keeps my hair the way that I want. I always change up the shampoo and conditioner but this time I am using L'Oreal Paris: Oil infused shampoo and conditioner.

So before I jump into the shower, the trick that I do is to brush my hair so that the hair will be knot free. After that I use a luke warm water and shampoo the hair. I squeeze a lot of water as I can while treating my hair very carefully so that the conditioner that I am going to apply can absorb better. I leave the conditioner for as long as I can (usually I wash my body and shave so around 10~15 mins after) then I rinse the conditioner. The trick is to rinse the conditioner throughly with warm water and lastly splash your entire head with cold water. The reason why I do this is that the hair cuticles will open up due to steam and warm water to absorb more then close those cuticles back with a splash of cold water and this helps to support hair strength and added benefit of shiny, less frizzy appearing hair. I also use a hair oil to nourish back my hair cuticles after shower. Currently, I use hair serum from Étude House
After I get out of shower, I pat my hair to get rid of drippy water from hair then I let my hair air dry. Do not use heat as much as possible. That includes, curling irons, hair dryers and hair straighteners.  Another tips is to not use chemicals on the hair as possible. This includes bleaching, colouring, perming, bonding/permanent hair straightening. Try not to do all these for as much as possible.

I hope that you find this article helpful. I had a fun time writing this for you all. I hope you enjoy this blogpost. Have a nice day or night everyone. Good night!

Evening Skincare Routine

Good evening everyone! How is your day? Did you have a long day or a relaxing day? Nonetheless, evening or night skincare routine is a must for everyone. So today I am going to share my evening skincare routine with you all.

I use the same products mostly so I am just going to link to my morning skincare routine if you have not seen it. It has the same products mostly and I only use one to two products differently.

Normally when I get back home, I always like to use make up cleanser or some makeup wipes to wipe away my makeup. Then my actual skincare routine starts.

As you have seen in my morning skincare routine, I use this cleanser daily and I have been loving it. The only thing that is different from morning is that I use the Clarisonic Mia 2 to cleanse my face thoroughly and I have been loving it. Ever since I got it from my boyfriend as a gift, I have been loving the product and using it religiously every single night.

I really love this cleanser and sometimes I use the Kiehl's Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser depending on my skin on the day. This is a foam type cleanser so it is much gentle on the skin and it is very good for acne since I have ouly - acne prone skin.

Usually I apply a face mask of any type before I go into the night skincare routine so I will talk about my sheet mask routine and wash - type ones in another blog.

I love to use this Innisfree Aloe Revital Skin Mist. It acts like a toner in a bottle and you just mist it to three to four mist across the face and pat it gently. It leaves the skin very soft and hydrated since it is water based. It is also good to apply on the makeup as well for extra hydration.

I'm using this eyecream at the moment and I am in love. It is really good for fine lines and puffiness. I also use this product in the morning.

I cannot describe how much I love this essence. It is SKII facial treatment essence. It is super expensive but I really love using it. Since I am a student and I do not have income, I can only afford to buy the smallest bottle but because of the effect, I keep buying it bottle after bottle. I have been using it for a while so I really love it.

Last but not least, I use the face moisturiser, As mentioned in the morning skincare routine, I am using St. Ives timeless skin collagen elastin moisturiser as my daily moisturiser. I really love using it and I love the fact that it is so affordable for amount that it has.

I also love to apply this as my neck moisturiser and as my hand cream before I go to bed.

The extra things that I do before I go to bed is I apply a lip balm. I got this from the body shop for S$ 5 since it was on sale when I bought it. I still do not know how I feel about it because I really love the scent but I do not like way I have to apply and I feel like it does not as moisturising as the Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment

I really hope you find this blog helpful to you. Just make sure to drink a lot of water before you go to bed and wear warm socks if you feel cold. I guess this is my night time skincare routine. I hope you have a very nice weekend and have a nice day. Good night everyone!

It will take time for the review to be completed. Usually, I have other products that I am currently testing out, so it can be weeks even before I try out your product(s). Testing can take a long time, please be understanding.

Length of Testing:
  • Facial skin care usually tested for 5~7 weeks to allow my skin a chance to equilibrate and see results.
  • Skin/body care items like masks, hand cream, body lotion and sunscreen usually need a few weeks of testing.
  • Hair care products take generally about 1~2 weeks.

Morning Skincare Routine | September 2015

Morning everyone. My morning skincare routine consists of a few of these products and I am absolutely in love with them right now.

I have combination skin (oily - dry skin) and a bit of acne-prone while I am stressed out or hormonal changes. I have hormonal imbalance so when that went haywire, I will have a lot of breakouts along the jaw line, chin and my left cheeks.

My morning routine starts from the right side towards the left side. These are the steps that I always do in the morning.

This is the steps that I do every morning.
      • Cleansing
      • Toner / Face Mist
      • Essence
      • Eye cream
      • Moisturiser
      • Sunscreen (SPF)
I use multiple cleansers for my face according to how my face is in the morning. If I have a lot of acne, I use either Acnes Foaming Wash  or Kiehl's Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser.

After that I dry my face with very soft and gentle towel. Then I spray the Puru Puru Mist on my face as a hydrating toner.

Then I apply the SK-II facial treatment essence. It has been my go to facial vitamin ever since my birthday since I went to their SK-II counter and I took the magic ring skin counselling on March 2015. Since then, I have been using it both day and night and I see a big difference. I have gone through 2 of 75ml bottles and this is the 3rd 75ml bottle. Since it is so expensive, I can only buy the small bottle each time.

The way that I apply is that I pat the essence with my palm even though the recommended way is to use cotton pads and swap it. I find using my palm is more effective since I do not waste the product on the cotton pad and I have all the control over the essence.

I apply the eye-cream after the essence and I concentrate around my pre-mature fine-lines and puffiness. This eye-cream is mainly for anti-aging. I do not have dark circles so I only use this eye-cream as to treat and prevent my pre-mature fine-lines before it get worse.

I use the St. Ives timeless skin collagen elastin moisturiser as my moisturiser both day and night. I bought it a while ago from CK (department store in Singapore that is less expensive than normal drugstore for drugstore skincare and body care products) and it was $4.50. It was so cheap that I had to go read the reviews about it and a lot of people are raving about this product.

I use it sparingly for both my face and neck and décolletage and I use this product for both day and night. Since it is a tub, I use a cotton swap to grab the product from the packaging to prevent the bacteria from growing. Sometimes, I even use it as a hand-cream.

Okay, hang in there, this is the last step. I use SPF daily. You should use SPF every day even if you are at home. It is so important to protect from sun damage. I use the Étude House Sunprise Super Aqua SPF 35 with PA++

So in recap, this is what I do for my skincare in the morning. I hope you enjoy reading this post. Please feel free to ask me questions about skincare if you have any questions.

4 ways to get rid of FRESH blood stains

If you are looking for how to get rid of the fresh blood stains, you've come to a best place. As a girl, it's really been a pain in the butt to deal with "That time of the month" and it's consequences.

OR) you are a guy who got cut and stain your clothes. Anyhow, I'm going to tell you how to get rid of the FRESH blood stains from your clothes. There are a few ways to get rid of blood stains. I'm going to tell you everything, every knowledge that I know.

      First way
If you get the blood stain, go to the bathroom ASAP and wash it with COLD WATER! DON'T put the bloodstain with WARM/HOT water. The protein will bond together when in contact with hot water. SO JUST USE COLD WATER and rinse the fabric till it become faded.

      Second way
If you are at home and the first way does not remove the stain, then this will be the way for you. Use your favourite detergent and let the stain soak for 10-20 minutes and hand wash the stain till it become faded. This is the brand that I always go back and they perform great job for my clothes.

      Third way
If the above 2 steps does not remove the stain, you can use a little help from your medicine cabinet called "Hydrogen peroxide". You can normally buy them at the counters at the pharmacy for the Hydrogen Peroxide 3% solution like this one.

      Fourth way
I should say this is the weird way. If you have very fresh blood and if it is your blood, it is a quickest way is to put your saliva to bleach the blood. I recommend if you have a cut blood stain (a small one) to white or any colour shirt, use your saliva is the quickest and most effective way to bleach it immediately. If you are intimated by this idea then I suggest you do one of the above tricks.

      Top Songs of 2014

Music has always been a part of my life is it become my daily life when I arrived in Singapore and being exposed to 24 hours of excellent Internet. I was a downloader for sure for everything music and movies. Now, with being exposed to YouTube which pretty much has everything I want, I have been listening the songs that I love via YouTube!

Since the year is ending, I would like to share my YouTube playlist showing what kind of songs I have been loving for the entire year of 2014 and I really hope you enjoy the music that I picked and have been loving for the past year.

I hope you have wonderful years ahead of you and I wish you all Happy New Year!

      Best 14 of 2014 | Skincare Gadgets

I am pretty sure that this is the very late post since Best of 2014 should be posted in January or latest in March. Now is September and I finally have time to post some blogposts. I finally finished the exam and well I did my fair share of studying.

If you wondering where I have been, I'll write another blogpost later on explaining everything that I've been doing. But this post will be a blogpost about what I loved in 2014 and as of late August 2015, I am still using the exact same products even now.

      Clarisonic Mia 2

I have been loving Clarisonic Mia ever since I got it as a present from my boyfriend, Marcus as Christmas present in 2013. I have been using it religiously and I can actually see that it has been helping a lot with my skin and thoroughly cleansing my skin and keeping it fresh. The only downside with this product is that I have to buy several brush heads every 3 - 4 months and replacing them to keep the bacteria and dirt out of it.

You can purchase it here (Price in Singapore - $215).

      Panasonic hair remover

Panasonic's epilator has been with me for so long and I'm still very much in love with it.  I use it to epilate my underarms and this makes my life so much easier. It keeps it smooth and keep the hair out of my life (LOL). You can purchase it here (Price in Singapore - $29).

      Watsons shaver

Nobody really want hairy legs (at least for me)! So I have been using this shaver for more than 1 year now. I love it so much that I made my boyfriend to use for his shaving routine. The best thing about this shaver is that it has 5 blades and it is much less expensive than Gillette shavers. It is super precise and give a close shaving and it does not dry out my skin at all. I put body butter after every shave for more glowing and moisturised skin.  You can purchase it here.

      Eyelash curler

I bought the Shu Uemura eyelash curler and I am stoked to use it. It is much better than using cheap brands (no offence). It is made mainly for Asian eyelashes since we have short and straight eyelashes. I decided to give it a try from my nearest Sephora while I have my 10% of discount and I am in love. A lot of beauty bloggers and YouTubers use this eyelash curler and they rave about this curler a lot. You can purchase it from here (I paid for S$30).

      Best of 2014 | skincare

      Hello guys,

      This is Reyar again <3
Today I would like to chat with you all about my holy grail skincare products in 2014. 2014 was considered as quite a bad skincare year towards the end of the year. So basically, I had normal to oily skin then it changed to oily to acne prone skin. In 2014, I was travelling a lot so I think it was because of the weather, water, food, and among other things that effected my skin to change a bit.
So I use all these products. Well, right now, my skincare routine changed a bit due to different due to skincare items. But last year, these items are the holy grail for me and I still use most of them though :3

I think you all should use skincare even if you are still young and still not wearing makeup, you should use at least skincare.

So I use these products for all these steps. Some steps I use one or more products but others, I use only one. These 5 steps are the basic skincare for all skin types then we use different skincare items to suit our skin problems and skin types.

I put numbers as usual for easy seeing and identify each and every products you are interested.
      1. First Aid Beauty (FAB) Ultra repair instant oatmeal mask
